Caitlin Alegre, Middle and High School Specialist
Caitlin holds a Master of Arts in Educational Therapy from Holy Names University, specializing in executive functioning and reading difficulties. As a Certified Educational Therapist, she brings advanced expertise in supporting students with learning challenges and empowering them to overcome academic barriers. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Child Development from Mills College, with a concentration in language acquisition and language learning, which informs her holistic approach to educational therapy. Additionally, Caitlin is a trained mindfulness facilitator with over 10 years of personal practice, integrating mindfulness techniques to support students’ emotional well-being and academic growth.
With 16 years of experience teaching English Language Arts to middle school students of all abilities, Caitlin has also coached students preparing for the High School Placement Test and advised families through the private high school application process. A proud first-generation Latina, she is deeply committed to advancing equity in education. Currently a candidate for an EdD in Leadership for Equity and Social Change, Caitlin leads with a focus on inclusivity, empowerment, and transformative education, striving to bridge opportunity gaps and help diverse learners reach their fullest potential.
